I’m really looking forward to two concerts that are coming up this month:
First on Tues 18th April I’m returning to play the excellent DARTFORD Folk Club in Kent–
Working Men’s Club, Essex Road, DA1 2AU – 8pm

on Sat 29th April I’m excited for our special “FROM COTSWOLD EDGE” concert
at the Lansdown Hall in STROUD, GL5 1BB – 7.30pm 7.30pm – with songs of Gloucestershire and beyond with Geoff March on cello, and stunning images from Martin Fry FRPS.

We haven’t performed this show for many years, so, as later this year, it’s the 40th Anniversary of my Forest & Vale & High Blue Hill album, the concert will feature many of these songs, plus some from River of Dreams and other albums. Among the songs are words by poets such as Laurie Lee, Ivor Gurney, F W Harvey, Frank Mansell, Eva Dobell, and Leonard Clark, including much-loved songs like This Night the Stars, A Song of Gloucestershire, and Cotswold Lad which are now on The Gloucestershire Collection CD.

My concerts will include: Newport in South Wales, Leek, and The Forest of Dean in June; and on 1st July the Minchinhampton Folk Club 20th Anniversary Festival.
