OTHER NEWS:

It’s good to see the original Transatlantic Sessions are being shown again on Friday evenings on BBC 4 TV.

Recently I have just heard the sad news of the passing of Les Barker, the acclaimed poet and entertainer, and John The Fish – a stalwart of the Cornish folk scene and such a friendly, kind and generous singer who I’ve known for many years.

And also recently we lost Dave “Scotty” Scott, a fine guitarist, bass player and stalwart of the Minchinhampton Folk Club for many years.

Others we’ve sadly lost include David Crosby, Christine McVie, Jeff Beck, Rab Noakes, Noel Murphy, Ian Tyson, Wilko Johnson, and journalist Colin Irwin.
