The summer tour of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dreamhas begun very well.It is performed by The Festival Players International Theatre Company (Patron: Dame Judi Dench) with my music for the songs. I am very sad to learn of the recent passing of:
Gwilym Davies – folk singer, musician, and fine collector of folk songs;
Kelly Joe Phelps – a great Americana singer-songwriter and guitarist;
and
Dennis Cahill – a wonderful acoustic guitarist who worked for many years with Irish fiddle player Martin Hayes.
